How to install Domain Connect in Plesk for Linux:

Note

If you are using Plesk for Windows, follow the Plesk for Windows instructions listed in the next section.

  1. Click on Extensions in the navigation bar on the left.
  2. On the Extensions Catalog tab, in the search box, enter Domain Connect.
  3. Select Domain Connect.
  4. Click Get it free.

The Domain Connect extension is now installed.

Connecting a Domain to the Static IP Address of the Server

To set up a mail server in Plesk, the first step is to add the domain and then connect to the static IP address of the server. Simply follow these steps:

Plesk for Linux
  1. Click on Domains in the navigation bar on the left.
  2. Click Add Domain.
  3. In the Domain name* field, type the domain name you want to use.
  4. Optional: In the IP address list, select the desired server IP address.
  5. Enter the desired user name in the Username field.
  6. Enter the password in the Password field and repeat it.
  7. Optional: Activate the Enable Git Support option.
  8. To add the domain, click OK, and the domain will be set up. A message in the following format will then appear: Do you want to connect [DOMAINNAME] to Plesk automatically? Connect using Domain Connect.
  9. To connect the domain to the static IP address of the server, click the Connect using Domain Connect link and the Connect Your Domain to Web Hosting on Plesk window will open.
  10. Click on Login.
  11. Connect, and your domain will be connected to Plesk.
  12. Click Close.

Please Note

Please check the DNS settings of your  domain if you cannot automatically connect your domain to Plesk Onyx via Domain Connect. Make sure that a CNAME record is created with the hostname and value .

Plesk for Windows
  1. Click on Domains in the navigation bar on the left.
  2. Click Add Domain.
  3. In the Domain name* field, type the domain name you want to use.
  4. Optional: In the IP address list, select the desired server IP address.
  5. Enter the desired user name in the Username field.
  6. Enter the password in the Password field and repeat it.
    Optional: Activate the Enable Git Support option.
  7. To add the domain, click OK.
  8. Click on the domain name.
  9. Click Hosting Settings.
  10. In the Security section, enable the SSL/TLS support option.
  11. Click Apply, and then click OK.
  12. To connect the domain to the static IP address of the server, click the Connect using Domain Connect link and the Connect Your  Domain to Web Hosting on Plesk window will open.
  13. Log in .
  14. Click Connect and your  domain will be connected to Plesk.
  15. Click Close.
